Depression anxiety OCD and shaking all the time

Please can someone help me, I have been put on fluoxetine liquid form 10ml, as i didn't want a high dose, but now I have had to take more Diazepam today, been taking 1 ml a day now for a couple of months, but since they have put me on fluoxetine 4 days ago, i feel i am going out of my mind.... Please help me, as my kids that don't live with me are at wits end... I live on my own... really scared... Hilary

Hi Hilary, just to let you know that we are thinking about you and try not to worry so much. (Easier said than done I know). When you first start taking Fluoxetine this is one of the side effects, and also your depression can get a little worse but once they start to kick in this usually subsides. Its a little scary to say the least but if it becomes too much for you I suggest you go and see your GP/Psychiatrist and see what they say maybe they will change your ad's, however I think its usually about 6/8 weeks before they start to take effect. Thanks for your reply, have been on fluxotine before, but I was still feeling side effects 10.5 weeks, so stopped them gradually, but a friend of mine did stick it out even though she was still feeling it after 12 weeks, that was a year ago, wish now I had kept with it, as all the others I tried were even worse.... Thanks for your reply nessie,.. I have been taking 10 ml of Fluxoetine a night, go to sleep right away, but only on and off for a few hours, then awake for the rest of the night... been taking it 4 nights, feel very tired now, and no appetite, was on venlafaxine, and had no appetite on that either.... lost too much weight... found when i took the fluxoetine of a morning, felt very drowsy.... finished venlafaxine 10 weeks before going on Fluoxetine, but wasn't feeling any better, so worn down and anxious......
