Your psychiatrist should of explained to you why he/she put you on them.

Hello! Can you ask them?

Anti psychotics can be used to help severe depression alongside an anti depressant. Personally. Find they have side effects I wasn't happy with and came off them quite quickly but for some I think they can help.

Hello :) I'm a neophyte too :) I got anti-psychotic and antidepressant too; my doctor told me to take those meds before bed time. Well, both meds helped me to sleep well and relax. My anxiety is in full swing right now, before when I have full swing attack, I can't sleep, but when I started taking both meds, although I got full swing attack, I can still sleep at least 6 hours. 😊 Hope you're okay 😊
