Side effects

Hi everyone. This is my first post on here so go easy on me! I'm taking sertraline 100mg for my depression and anxiety and I have this awful joint pain in my left shoulder. I just wondered if anybody else that was taking the same medication or another SSRI had similar side effects?

Hi I have never heard of this side effect of any ad meds. I am on sertraline too. The only person who can diagnose this is a doctor so you need to make an appointment to see one. x

Yes, when I first started taking Sertraline I too suffered lots of joint pain, particularly in my shoulder but back pain too. It got so bad that I considered stopping taken it but then it gradually started to wear off. I am now on 200g of Sertraline with no pain.

So may be worth persevering with but I suggest you speak to your GP if it gets too painful.
