So the medications weren't working well so I agreed to try ECT. I barely sleep after a treatment and am feeling very anxious....we'll have been all night. I don't know how to settle myself. Do you have any suggestions? I'm desperate.

Hi I am sorry you need to have ect. Have you told your doctor about how anxious you are feeling after it? Maybe s/he can give you something to help? Do you feel the ect is helping you? x
I had no idea they still did that in the uk and can only imagine how you must feel ...i would be getting in touch with the hospital who performed this as surely they must have someone who you can contact to talk to about the affects of going through such a treatment ...
