I have been off work for a couple of weeks as my depression got really bad. It never goes away completely but most of the time I can keep it under control but recently it beat me. However, I am trying to get back to work and this morning I had a meeting with my boss. She is very supportive and has suggested I work part time for a few weeks.
This will really suit me as I will just be working afternoons. I hate mornings anyway. This illness makes me so lethargic in the morning and I need time after taking my meds.
Living with depression isnt easy but you can cope with the right support.

Hi David
I'm sorry you have been having such a hard time but it sounds as if your boss is being supportive which is good. Keep your chin up as best you can and keep in touch,
