I suffer with emphysema and anxiety attacks can't get any help with out I have to pay and I am on state pension and to get counselling you only get so many under the nhs which is not enough

73, I suspect that 73 year old depressives who smoke reasonably heavily are rare (ish) and maybe can sometimes give good advice which is one of the reasons I reply to as many posts as possible.

The 50 to 80 bracket is wide when other age ranges are smaller

It's an interesting graph but because the age categories that have been used vary in size so much, I think there's a risk that the graph creates a distorted picture of the group. An age category that covers 30 years is likely to contain more people than any age category that only covers a 5 year span (especially in an ageing population / society)!
