Why do some AN grow quickly over a short period of time, could stress or hormones play a part?
Im 48, not pregnant, but i am on the contaceptive injection called
depo
provera
, but considering ive been taking this birth control for 10 years, the consultant didn't seem to concerned. I also mentioned stress and i was told that stress doesn't make a difference.

Periods after surgery
Hi ladies, I had surgery in September to remove chocolate cysts and endo tissue but for various reasons they didn’t remove all the endo. Before my surgery, my periods were regular – every for weeks. But afterwards the surgeon wanted to stop them to help with the endo and try to prevent future cysts

Hi, just looking for some advice. I'm currently taking provera before starting our second IVF round and I've just realised I've only been taking 10mg instead of 20mg for the past 4 days. I've been told to take it for 10 days so now really worried I've messed up getting my cycle in sync and nervous they'll

I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis. My consultant has issued me with provera tablets as treatment. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with taking these? Im a little apprehensive of the possible side effects. Many thanks

Has anyone experienced insomnia with Provera?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experienced insomnia with provera. If yes, then please let me know how you've dealt with this condition. I have endometriosis and have been on provera for over two decades and have had severe insomnia. I was only left with 2/3 hours of sleep at night. But when I started

Results of MRI
So saw the endometriosis consultant today and he was very good. My MRI scan came back and showed extensive endometriosis that has obliterated my Pouch of Douglas and fully attached my rectum and bowel to my cervix. I've got an endo cyst on my left ovary and blood in left fallopian tube. Cervix is swollen

Provera update
So I'm on 10mg of provera daily since the 15th of September and I've been bleeding continuously but I have now stopped bleeding since Wednesday. It's like a different world when you aren't bleeding! I've done some research and many women refer to the first period on provera as a "clear out" as the drug

Going Private
I can't wait any longer so I've decided to go private and I've booked to see a consultant next week. I can't get my head around the fact I can see the same consultant I have to wait a year for on the NHS next week if I pay £200. I'm 50, currently on continuous provera and estrogen and I'm bleeding heavily

Hi everyone, I posted a couple of days to complain about my horrible experience at A&E and also mentioned that I had an appointment on Monday, I had my consultation yesterday and I’m finally moving forwards in my treatment. I informed the consultant that I’ve been bleeding for a whole month on the Provera

A&E trip
I had to make a trip to A&E today because I’ve been bleeding consistently for 27 days with severe abdominal and back pains. I waited for four hours and came out with painkillers that I had to cry to be prescribed. I posted here last week asking for advice on what to do because I believe the Provera has
