Earlier this week I ate something and the tip of it poked the top of my mouth and the next day part of my gum in the roof of my mouth is really red and hurts and bleeds when I brush over it. Any idea when this will go away or what do to do about it?

Hi use warm salt water mouthwashes. It may turn into an ulcer but should heal after 10 to 14 days.

Now whenever I brush over it I spit out a lot of blood, is that normal?
