Post dental treatment
Just has some
dental
treatment
this week and thought I was doing okay after it but now feeling the effects. Why does
dental
treatment
do that? I made sure to ensure I didn't have adrenal in local aneasthetic, checked I wasn't sensitive to the ingredients in the filling. Ah well.

Teeth sensitivity at the dentist
Does anyone find their teeth really sensitive during ordinary
dental
treatment
such as cleaning? I’m also having a problem with the injections to numb the mouth not working . Is this Lupus related or is it just me? Any advice on the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all xxx

Update on Medical Professionals and how to access dental treatment as housebound
Hello, further to my last post, my father in law has had a visit from the Parkinsons Nurse and he won't be revisiting until 3 months time. He has given us a contact email and told us to contact him if things change. My mother in law asked if he was going to get any better (this has been a constant

PMR Review with GP
I made it clear that I wouldn't have anything that might prevent me from having
dental
treatment
and that I had never had a DEXA scan. Also, that I have put on weight (12 lbs) over Christmas after my diet had lapsed and was concerned that my hba1c might have gone up again.

Anticoagulants and Dental treatment
I recently had a molar removed.I needed a couple of stitches. I was advised to stop Rivaroxaban the night previous to the extraction and also on the night of the extraction. Loss of taste re dental bridge
I know I need to go back but after six months of intensive
dental
treatment
I have kind of stepped away for a break but the no taste is depressing. Due to not being able to eat properly and cutting a lot of food I would normally eat out my diet my weight dropped initially to under six stone!

Went for a dental check up my first one at my new dentist ( haven't had one in seven years) oops.
I was just wondering if anybody else on here with congenital heart disease with bicuspid aortic valve and had Coarctation repair has to have antibiotic
treatment
before undergoing
dental
treatment
like having a tooth out I only ask because I do. Let's just say my dentist doesn't like me very much!

Increasing steroids for dental treatment
Hi all - I have previously seen posts about increasing preds for
dental
treatment
, is this all treatment or specific things? and does it still apply at low levels? I am having a crown fitted for a broken tooth and am currently on 2mbs/1.5mgs - DSNS! Thanks

My
dental
treatment
is at 11am. I have been told to stop Edoxaban the day before. Am extremely nervous about doing that and called my AF nurse today. She wasn’t clear - sent me the NICE guidelines but didn’t say definitely to stop or to carry on taking the medication.

Dental Treatment after open heart surgery
My question is do I have to have antibiotics before any
dental
treatment
and if so is it the Dentist who prescribes them. I have tried to get this information from the Internet but I find the information confusing. I am on medication including Edoxaban and dispersible aspirin.
