Dry Mouth and Swallowing

Has anyone’s dry mouth from meds led to issues swallowing? Sometimes when my mom eats food gets stuck on her tongue while other times food doesn’t get stuck at all. Any suggestions?

Difficulty wwith swallowing is a parkinson problem that just about all of us will experience as the disease progresses . Your mothers differing experiences with food are likely to be due to fluctuations in her medications. When she is off food gets stuck on her tongue when on (medicated) she is able to swallow.
