Questions on cinnamon and HDT

Hi all, Andrea here. What is HDT? Also which way do you source/find /use cinnamon? Just from the spice aisle at the supermarket? Or medical cinnamon? & how much?

Hi Andrea,

HDT is high dose thiamine HCI which is also known as vitamin B1. HDT was discovered by an Italian neurologist named Dr. Costantini who died from Covid-19. He used it to very good effect in his PD office patients and later offered free email consultations to PwP around the world, which includes many members of this forum, to help them and to help spread the word about HDT/B1. Hi Art, thank you so much for responding. I believe it makes a difference with an over all wellness feeling. I feel less unwell and less cog fog I am going to increase to 750 mgs / next week. Slowly does it is best for me with increasing my meds. The magic bullet for me for general symptom improvement is sleep. 8-9 hours with a sleeping tablet sees me up and about and feeling great.

Hi Andrea,

Lifting of brain fog is one of the more mentioned benefits of HDT/B1 and I am very happy to hear that you are responding to B1! Yes, I think your nice and slow approach will workout well for you. That is something that Dr. Costantini had said would work, just a little bit slower than how he would do it, but he had a lot of practical experience with dosing after using it in so many of his office and email patients. Julie I just bought 4 pkts of organic Ceylon cinnamon from Yarra valley in Victoria Australia. (I’m an Aussie and it’s Aussie grown)
