Taking the patient perspective has led to increasing recognition of the importance of depression and other non-motor features in Parkinson’s disease

Lithium oratate is helpful. Have you tried High Dose Vitamin B1?

I had experimented with lithium orotate with apparently no benefit. Have found b1 beneficial but not miraculous

What dose did you start with on B1? George started taking 1 gram in the morning and 1 gram Before lunch. The 2nd day he started this therapy, his tremor was completely gone. Then it became worse. We are going to have to lower the dosage until his symptoms are greatly reduced. When the dose before lunch is too much B1, the symptoms get worse. The idea is to take less B1 until the sweet spot is found. That is the dose that is followed for life.

I have started 500 mg morning and 500 mg evening (1 gram a day). I feel a little better but cannot conclude anything at this stage. As per the existence of forum members, some see immediate results whereas for some it may take months to realize the benefits

Chartist said that when George's tremor went completely away after one gram on the second day, that was a good sign. What dose did you start with.

Is there a reason you didn't start higher , like 4 grams? 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. How long have you had PD? When you started at 500, did you immediately notice improvements, if only for a while?

I am 47 years old diagnosed 3 years ago. Until recently I was as symptoms free as normal person. However I have noticed deterioration since last 6 months or so. I still am able to run at a speed of 12 km/hour. I have started at 1 grams per day due to my age and relatively better condition. Prior to that I have experimented with less doses numerous times without any success.

I have seen some improvement in in anxiety level as immediate outcome but it's early to conclude anything

Chartist suggested that George double the amount he is taking. He is in perfect health other than his PD. He started taking 300 mg in the morning and 300 afternoon. (Before yesterday, he was taking 150 mg x2. ) His tremor went away for several hours yesterday. It is low to non-existant today. Take higher doses. It does not cause harm.
