Gabapentin - new prescription

Gabapentin - I'm about to be prescribed Gabapentin, to reduce hip pain. Will I still need to take eight paracetamols a day?

I’ve just been prescribed Gabapentin too, I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and dysplastic hips (need a hip replacement), has the Gabapentin helped you with your hip pain?

To be honest, I don't really know. Any improvement, if any is really slight. My Doctor told me that I could expect an improvement in the level of pain but it wouldn't disappear. I've managed to cut back on the amount of paracetamol, so that is a plus.

I’m happy to hear it’s helping if only a little bit did you notice feeling nauseous when you first started them? I started them yesterday and feel really sick today

I'm sorry to learn of the problems you are experiencing. I hope they soon disappear. Fortunately, I had no side effects.

Idk. Gabapentin is really good for nerve and arthritis pain though. Its not addictive either. Your not alone i have alot of arthritis too. Peace and healing to you. Have you ever listened to music of Debussy?? Its soothing.
