I was diagnosed with seronegative inflammatory arthritis about 17 months ago. I had my first related surgery on 6/20/2017. Thankfully, I am right handed. I now have a half cast/splint on my left wrist which I'll be wearing for the next 5 weeks, 2 days. I have tenosynovitis involving the tendon of my thumb that was first treated with a steroid injection in February. My wrist became painful again mid-May. Surgery is overwith, healing has begun! I look forward to a future of early intervention to keep my joints (and tendons) as mobile as possible. You know your own body. Be your own advocate in health care.

Your healing has begun!! As each day passes, you are closer to being painfree.

I couldn't agree with you more about being your own advocate. No one knows their body more that ourselves.

take care,

Sue
