Hip an pelvic pain

I have crohns right side on predisolone 25mg at moment awaiting blood tests start new medication im suffering from right hip pain knee pain an pelvic pain last couple weeks today i was in agony pain a ten couldnt walk this morning or lift my right leg to get dressed has anyone with crohns had these pains an what causes it pelvic pain is just right of where my crohns is right near a little bone any help pls just takeing paracetamol thanks

I had right leg problems when my Crohns was really active and relentless after about 10 months in.

Pelvic pain is usual, but I dont think my leg hurt as such, just found it hard to move it due to the inflammation in the belly, so used to limp.

I get pain over my left side as well now when in a flare up, even though the problem is over on the right at the anastomosis site from surgery, so referred pain is also normal in Crohns I think in my case anyway.

Your leg pain sounds like nerve pain

Hi Penny, I had right pelvic and hip pain and then it moved to both sides after being on prednisone when I first was dx. with chrons (5 yrs ago),! I was seen by an orthopedic dr who found I had necrosis in both hips due to use of steroids (prednisone)!! I needed to have bilateral partial hip replacements and was advised against the use of steroid medications due to risk the carry with killing bones! Please have xrays done to check, it cant hurt
