I just got my results and Calprotectin is at 140. Only symptom I have is pebble poop. So now I don’t think is IBS cause of that and worried.

Try not to worry about your Calprotectin as mine went up to 600 and classed as 'chronic'. I have UC and now giving myself injections every two weeks as all other treatments eg Steroids, nightly enemas never worked for me. I will be on tablets for life and this going down later to a maintenance level. I have had diarrhea, and terrible cramping pains. The fatigue is something else and I never want to experience again as this put me in bed many a day as I was barely able to put one leg in front of the other. I am slowly regaining my appetite again which helps a lot with my strength. My best wishes to you -

Thank you! I hope is nothing bad. I just don’t have the symptoms of IBD but who knows??

I’m schedule for a colonoscopy but until June, so we will see how everything comes out.

Hi, I was wondering how things are going? Ive been having pebble poop for afee months now. My doctor dosent seem overly concerned and just gives me laxatives.

I’m still having the same issue sad balls. Dr suggested in the mean time to take Miralax and is working. I have some inflammation base on test so I’m having a colonoscopy done in like like 4 days. Soon we will find out what’s causing it.

Try not to worry, mine was 316. Had a colonoscopy and biopsies. Nothing was found and as it happened by the time the colonoscopy came around the symptoms had gone and it was out down to a inflammation which had come and gone.

I hope that’s my case. In the start Dr assured me base on my symptoms it was IBS but i hope everything turns out well.
