Crohns and RA.

Does anyone have both Crohns and RA?

I was taking Remicade. It worked ok for Crohns but two weeks before next infusion it wear off. I just had an infusion the other day and it’s not working at all for my RA. All my symptoms are comming back.

I’m obviously going to see my doctor, but wonder what other biologics treat both diseases.

I can not take Methotrexate it other DMARDS. I already been down that road.

Are there any new Biologics out there?

Hi, I have both, currently on the methotrexate, after 6 months finally seeing improvements.

Have you tried Hunira? Its an injection as opposed to an infusion, which means you can inject yourself at home

Yes, tried Humira and am allergic to it.

Just 👀 my to arm myself with knowledge before I go to my appointments. I only found 3 biologics that treat both. Humira, Remicade and cimzia. So it’s probably cimzia they will try next. Metho and all the DMARDS I already tried.
