Went out with just the hi-viz over a t-shirt today. Left the heavy duty gloves behind and went out with thinner ones. Obviously also wearing long leggings (very lightweight). No hat and no buff. Still rather warm when I got home.
So what is everyone else wearing?
It was 10°C when I was running today - and raining - and I was so glad I only wore a t-shirt and shorts. I still over-heated, but that was for a race. If out for a training run, I think I would have worn my capri tights and t-shirt. No hat, and no buff for the first time in months! I should have have worn my thin gloves, as my fingers were still a bit cold (I have poor circulation in my hands) and I had to keep regularly shaking the blood back into them!
But maybe I 'run' hot as very few other women wore shorts and only a few wore t-shirts! More men in shorts though, but I was surprised to see some people in leggings, shirts, jackets and woolly hats!
I hate my legs so will probably always wear full or 3/4 running leggings but now it's getting warmer I overheat quickly. I've been wearing a vest with my long sleeved high vis over the top but soon will end up with just a t-shirt I think.
I've not worn gloves for ages and like the air on my neck and face so don't wear a buff.
I haven't run over the winter but have just re started. Did two runs in long leggings and long top and high vis. Hated it lol. I have done the last two ( early evening) in 3/4 Capri things and a t shirt (both Nike dri fit ) and just wore a fleece for warm up and first 4 mins run. OH thinks I'm mad lol
It was 12C today I wore a short top and a T Shirt on top of it and my track bottoms. It was too hot and wishing that I only wore the T shirt! I will try wearing the 3/4 leggings next time if the weather remains the same. I think Shorts is a good idea and a T Shirt on top. My Shorts area bit too short so I am a bit concerned and I never saw any woman wearing shorts today, maybe when it is a bit warmer..I think I would be happier in Shorts and a T Shirt than leggings.
