Week 4 run 1 done - well done me!!

OMG I did it!! Feeling so pleased with myself. Can't believe I completed this run as I struggled with my last three minute run a few days ago.

The second five minute run was hard work but I kept going. I couldn't believe it at the end when Laura said I'd run for 16 minutes! The plan is now more running than walking so I'm beginning to feel like a runner. Can't wait to get out again on Friday and do the same run again and see if I can cover more distance.

Well done - I was surprised that I managed to do w4r1 ... and even more surprised when I did w4r2 ... had to drive down my route later that day, and kept thinking ' I ran along here!!!!' it's such a buzz - keep it up! And, yes, you should feel pleased with yourself - I do!

Well done you!, I have just done W4R3 this morning, and was really suprised how good i felt, yes it is hard work, but you feel you have really achieved something. Yes, I am slow - some people could probably walk faster than I jog, but who cares, not built for speed! You'll feel great at the end of the week - promise.

I am a bit nervous of week 5.

In addition, I have only joined this community recently and I find it an added incentive to share or ask for support from my new running buddies - thanks all

I'm slow too but I guess speed will come when we are comfortable running for 30 minutes. Good luck with week 5! I'm away on holiday next week so may get a bit behind but am taking my ipod with me just in case I find somewhere nice to run. I love this community too.
