Week6 Run2 was a tough one.

I was suppose to go yesterday but just wasn't feeling up to it and knew if I went I wouldn't have finished it and would just have been disappointed. So off I went today, the first 10 minutes I found a steady pace going a wee bit faster than normal I think, however the second 10 minutes were all over the place. I was pretty much home and I still had 5 minutes to run so had to improvise and it threw me off. It was tough and I did struggle although I finished (just) I feel a tad disappointed. But I guess they can't be all good run. I just hope the next one is.

Happy jogging folks. :-)

Week 6 is surprisingly hard after all that euphoria of WK5 R3. But the magic happens again this week and before you know it 25 minutes is under your belt. You're right, there are good and bad ones and by now you know the difference. You'll roll with it next time, dont despair ;-)

That was the first "bad" run I have had and it wasn't even really bad because I did finish. I was quite shocked at how it was though. Just need to find the right pace to keep going on the next run. :-)

I found runs 1 and 2 of week six really hard..then run 3 the 25 mins was much better....think the stop/start is hard but I think it's how we build our stamina up.

I think I agree with you on the stop start thing because I seemed to be going great guns for the first 10 mins. Well heres to run 3 either tomorrow or Saturday. :-)

Yep, same here. After the second walk on w5r1 my legs felt like mush, so the final 10 minutes were rubbish. First time it has happened really and still not sure why. Just hope the w5r2 tomorrow morning is better.

You will do just fine on your next run, but even if it is a struggle try and remember how far you have come. Dig deep. :-)

Know exactly how you feel caz1-ca. I did week 6 run 3 today... no euphoria, a real slog, plus loads of other rotten things (including possible speeding ticket) happened today. Don't even feel up to posting the usual blog... hoping next run (W7R1 on Saturday) will be better. :-(

Reading the above comments gives me hope.

Hang on in there, caz1 !

Oh bugger, sorry to hear about the possible speeding ticket, hope it turns out not to be one. Hope your next ru is better. :-)
