Can't believe I just ran for 25 minutes. When Laura said "you're a proper runner now" I had the biggest smile. Thank you so much for all the advice, when I got to the hill which has been causing problems I turned round and ran back, and I did it. I even speeded up for the last minute. My ankle is a bit sore, will probably book some physio for next week, but it isn't as bad as last time, I can walk on it and it isn't swollen. My goodness it was cold out there, I'm still warming up now.
One learning point for me is to focus on what I have acheived not just what there is to do. I keep forgetting that 6 weeks ago I was running for one minute and now I can do 20-25. Really beginning to feel that I can do it now.

Well done! We're at the same stage! I've got Week 7 Run 1 scheduled for 5am tomorrow, but I might put it off til the day after to recover from my cold a bit more.
Congratulations well done, we are at the same stage, I'm due out tomorrow for w7r1 but stuffed with cold!! My youngest also, so even if I feel better ill have him at home I'm already missing it, my w1 was awful I just couldn't imagine finishing this program but here we are w7!!! And 'proper runners' who'd have thought?
Like you I think too much about the 'difficult' runs ahead and not just give myself credit on what I've done,
