Antibiotics to run or not to run?

Ok I've had a horrendous gum infection (half my face looked like a beachball) had to take two lots of antibiotics at the same time. Swelling now going down and I feel a lot better. Still have to take the drugs for another 4 days to complete the course.

The question is should I go out for a run or leave it for a while?

Do miss my running. :-(

  • I'm no expert but I'd leave it until the antibiotics are finished and the infection sorted. Saying this more because of the time of year than the medication. I would think the last thing you need is to get cold into the affected area.

  • The answer is no running while on antibiotics. The streets will still be there when you've finished the medication.

  • Thanks don't think I will be running my body is objecting again.
