Any advice about preventing stitch?

I tend to get side stitch after 30 minutes or so, which keeps me from running longer distances. Any tips would be appreciated!

Hi, belly breathing (diaphragmatic breathing) might help. Have a read through this post:

Hope it helps. :-)

Drink plenty of water before the run. If your body is properly hydrated you shouldn't get a stitch.

I alway used to get a stitch this is the cure, breath in through your nose while pushing your belly out. It feels really strange and takes some practice but really works still use it if I feel the slightest signs of getting a stitch.

Thanks, everybody. I tried the breating technique and it seems to help!
