So I am about to do w2r3 tomorrow but the forecast is... Rain!

Does everyone run in the rain? I'm not keen but on the other hand I don't want to lose momentum as I am really excited about it all at the moment as I never believed I could do this, and I feel I am doing so well.

Any tips?

I'm Welsh, I have to run in the rain or I wouldn't run. It is only water and once you are wet you are wet. It is actually quite nice as cools you down. Just make sure you have time to have a warm shower afterwards and you will be fine. :)

After the first couple of minutes it doesn't make a lot of difference really, if you're managed to work out what to wear ( I always seem to end up with spare layers, whatever the weather) - and running through muddy puddles can be surprisingly satisfying (being wary of tripping on unexpected lumps though). Once you're wet, you're wet! :)

I have run in rain, snow, sleet, frost, ice and sun! I find the rainy runs quite nice as they stop my face being quite as beetroot at the end! Once your out there after the first five minutes or so you will be wet, and once wet can't get much wetter (unless you go through massive puddles! I wore a water repellant fabric cycling jacket which kept my top half snug, and always wear two pairs of bottoms (running tights under dignity saving lycra gym trousers) so my legs didn't get too cold...

Enjoy your run! :-)

I enjoy running in rain just as long as it's not too heavy, it keeps me cool. Embrace it I'd say. :-)

I quite like running in the rain. I always go out in a coat, which is waterproof, and that keeps the worst of it off. The only problem getting rain in your eyes if the wind is going in the wrong direction. Enjoy!

Running in the rain is refreshing. I would wear a cap to keep the rain out of my eyes if it is heavy. Hopefully you have a light waterproof jacket to keep the rain off :)

I love running in the rain, I prefer it to start raining whilst I'm out so I'm already warm. I think I like the fact that I feel like a kid not caring and every one else thinks your a nutter :D

What made the difference for me was buying a very lightweight properly ventilated running shower proof anorak with a hood. I decided it was worth the money on the basis it meant i had absolutely no excuse not to get out there.

It keeps my face dry which I quite like - not bothered about wet legs.

But i get quite hot so have to remember to wear really thin layer underneath

I bought a lightweight waterproof running jacket quite cheap from sports direct yesterday - and got to tryit out today! Great buy and would agree with Phil72 it's great not to be care.

Rain is fun, especially the massive puddles. I sometimes turn around and run through them again just for the fun of it. 63, going on 8. Don't worry about the rain; you won't shrink.
