Ending the running section

W9R1 completed today.

Thought I would ask if anyone else hates the first 10 yards or so of the warm down walk?

I find I 'm trotting along in my rhythm and then Laura says "that's it, well done" and I slow down and it's as if my legs belong to someone else; for a few yards walking just seems all wrong and it feels as if it would be easier to just keep running.

Or am I just weird?

I did w7r3 this morning and nearly stumbled as I went into recovery walk!

My legs always seem a bit shorter when I stop running. Not as much as when you get off a horse, but a couple of inches or so......
