Well I wish you good luck on your first run of week 4. I should have started week 4 on Monday but had had such an awful cold I just couldn't do it. I'm feeling better now so tomorrow I will do the last run of week 3 again to get me back into it and then continue to week 4 on Monday. Best advice is to take it slow. :-)

Yes: take it slow, and remember that if you've done week 3, you'll be ready for week 4!

You have 3 weeks of the programme under your (running!) belt and every run prepares you for the next stage. Take a nice easy pace, have faith - you can do it. :-)

For me the first of the runs of week 4 was the hardest... partly because the park that I chose to run in had some pretty mean hills. It also had walkers and runners - both of which made me feel the need to push on quicker than I would have done when overtaking them. (The walkers that is).

The second and third runs seemed much easier in comparison being on flatter locations.

Good luck. I'm feeling like you about starting the week 5... though the first one should not be too much different as the 5 min duration feels the norm now.

Well I did it!!!!!! I took it slowly and was so pleased with myself when I completed the first 5 minutes! Thank you all for your encouragement and good luck on your journeys! :)

I'm due to start W4 at my next run, as I'm away visiting the folks, might see if I can get into one of the local leisure centres, or try to find somewhere inconspicuous to try running outside again maybe one of the parks, the landscape is definitely better but the routes will be hillier... may have to do a W1 or W2 run outside again just to keep it going.
