I was dreading this - running for 20 minutes without stopping...............I couldn't do this when I was 15 let alone 43!! After sharing my concerns with my son and him telling me to get on with it.............I ventured out into the cold night air last night. It was a beautiful evening and my route takes me down to the sea. I started the podcast and listened to Laura................and then I ran...........I thought I was going to stop at around 15 mins but that was my mind not my body and after an arguement with myself I carried on and didnt stop once..............I completed Week 5.............yay.............I was so chuffed with myself..............looking forward to starting week 6. Thank you for reading, I am really quite proud of myself, dont think I have ever said that before :-)

That run means so much when you complete it, I know I burst out into the widest of smiles when I did it.

Enjoy it, it's a wonderful feeling and give you so much confidence. It's the gateway run to completing the programme as far as I'm concerned, there will be tough runs ahead but now you know you can do it.
