...this time with the right intervals (I misheard and thought it was 10 mins running to 3 mins walking x 4 rather than 10:1!!! and problems with my iPod meant I didn't realise this till nearly the end). And without Samantha, who drove me bananas! I used my own playlist and timed the intervals myself. I think I need to invest in a stopwatch or something more fancy as I nearly walked into a lamp-post while trying to see the time on my iPod, ha ha. Anyway, had a great run apart from deciding to run down a very muddy lane which has turned into a water-course because of the snow melt from midweek; it was horribly squidgy and slippery! Anyway, I managed not to fall over, thank goodness. I'm also making progress in my goal of running up The Big Hill - the other day I managed to run, albeit extremely slowly, most of the way up from the river to where the road flattens out, though I had to walk the last bit. But definitely progress! So all good stuff at the moment. The bad news is my running buddy has the dreaded shin splints so she's out of action for a while.

Second try at B210k W1...
Great work Soozz -- and I do understand the i-pod "problematics" -- don't know about anyone else but without your glasses you may well end up with the wrong track/podcast/whatever. PLUS -- I recently bought new earphones as I had knackered my original ones. And they don't fit. So, lamposts, trees, slippery hills, you name it, I'm there with wires flying all over the place as one plug is kept in my earhole thanks to my buff and the other is blowing in the wind as I oftimes struggle with my iPod. Oh for the days of the Walkman hahaha -- well done Soozz
Well done Soozz. I can't believe you're running up that four-letter-word too. I remember the days when h*lls were evil things to be avoided at all costs. Now you've made me a) want to go and try my B*g H*ll, and b) do B210K. I must stop reading these blogs, they are far too inspiring!
