I am sat in my car with hail and rain beating down on the car and I feel great!! I have just completed week 5 run 2 in that weather and think I may have found my "groove". Sure it meant going slower than the old woman walking her chihuahua that I'm sure lapped me but, hey, I enjoyed it. Is that the key to running? Find a pace you like and stick with it? For those of you that have read my other blogs you will know that I struggle with my breath whilst running and am prone to negative thoughts mid way through. I think my breathing has settled down which is good considering I had to take cold and flu meds this morning. Also, I pushed myself to go faster in the last 60 seconds of each run which gave me such a buzz at the end. One proud bunny here

Well done for getting out there in this weather. I must admit that unusually for me I went to the gym this morning to do my stamina run albeit because I wanted to use the steam room afterwards!!!

Finding a pace that you like really does help, I think. We can always speed up a bit later, but why not enjoy it in the meantime? Feeling that jolly in the hail sounds great! Good for you!
