So the world record for 15k...

I ran 15k today in 1 hour, 45 minutes and 30 seconds.

The world record for 15k walking is 57 minutes and 35 seconds, held by one Vladimir Stankin of Russia.

That means that there are men out there who can walk faster than I run!

Maybe I should ditch the running and pick up walking instead?!

I am pleased I made it round the whole route I had set - and toward the end I picked up the pace a bit, and got my time down from an estimated time I had in mind. :)

That's an awful lot of running. Fantastic - well done Hectors!

What a fantastic achievement, I think it's amazing that you are running long distance and at a good pace, enjoy :-)

Well done on a fast run. Never mind about the rushing Russian, I think running 15km is better that walking that distance fast. I don't mind walking 15km (or running) but walking fast feels-and looks-awkward.

Yeah that's a mighty fine time and pace. Great job and don't be tempted Into fast walking as they look like they need the loo!
