But .... I use RunDouble via my phone so I can listen to my own music but for the third run of each week I play Laura through it. So yesterday I should have done it but made excuses to myself so determined to do it today.
So off I set and according to RunDouble I have a 22 minute run. However when Laura starts chatting she tells me I have 25 minutes. What!!!! That is a whole 3 minutes difference - almost a marathon. I was so shocked I stopped both Laura and RunDouble to see if they were both singing from the same hymn sheet ie W6R3. They were but there was still a 3 minute difference. Anyway not wanting to hang about in the rain debating with myself what to do I decided to go for 22 minutes and see if I could do any extra at the end. So off I went.
Well the Camel Trail today was almost the Camel River with adjacent fields flooded but the path was not too bad. With 11 minutes into the run I thought yes I can do this. 15 minutes I thought hell I am only going to do 22 but when RunDouble said slow down I carried on until Laura finally said "well done you can slow to a walk" . I was very pleased with myself albeit I was as red as a beetroot and knackered but ..... I ran 25 minutes non-stop. I don't think I have ever run that long before (especially as I went out to do 22 minutes).
