Thank you vixiel for your lovely blog, I was sitting up in bed this morning in a very cosy log cabin in Wales, looking out of the window at a beautiful hoar frost ,starlings and blackbirds flying around. When I read your blog and thought omg I am so lucky ,at 74 in January I can come away like this and do all these things, go and see an old gothic house all decorated for Christmas, a ride round the Elan Valley to see the dams, over the mountains with the snow on them, red kites flying around. When I am home at the weekend I will be able to do my run at the local park, slow I know, but I do it. When I think of those 2 ladies I realize how blessed I am. Pat

Green with envy Pat! Sounds idyllic. Where abouts in Wales are you? We went to North Wales in the "summer" (in quotes as pee'd with rain the whole time).

Hi Pearsey. We were at Llandrindod Wells, Powys. Had a lovely log cabin with a hot tub, at Bryn Thomas farm, Penybont. Booked it through Hoseasons. Pat
