The Met office didn't let me down.

Having checked the Met Office website this morning, while the rain was beating against the windows, I doubted their judgement when they told me confidently that it would dry up for a while just in time for my date with Laura after work today.

During the day, they rain continued to come down in a manner that was very reminiscent of my childhood (I grew up in south Wales where it rains so much that people are in danger of developing gills!) and doubts about the wisdom of the lovely people at the Met Office crept back in.

At 6pm, I set off, rain-free, on W3R2 as the imaginary meteorologist in my head yelled "Ye of little faith", but after a 9 hour working day, with no breaks, spent trying to 'cure' seven anorexics, W3R2 was VERY HARD work.

Well done! Everyone here seems to love running in the rain. This is something I have yet to experience. Sounds like your job can be very stressful, the running may soon be a great release for you. After a long, stressful day, the runs can seem so much more difficult. Wishing you a great next run! Gayle
