Here I am, week 2 run 2

Well, I can honestly say I didn't think I would get bitten by the running bug but I seem to planning my runs for the next week to ensure I get them in.

Having just finished wk 2, run 2, I couldn't help myself but to look at what week 3 has in store for me. OMG!!! How do I got from running 90 seconds to 3 whole big fat minutes? I can imagine the graduates find this funny having been there before.

Any advice would be appreciated.

That's the beauty of this site. Graduates can look back and remember what scared them and programme starters can see that it is possible to complete. And hopefully we all have a smile together along the way.

Advice is to go at a steady pace, don't go too fast at the start. Listen to Laura and believe in yourself. A large part of this plan is gaining mental strength as well as physical strength.

No it's not funny to look back - it is still a matter of amazement. You'll do those 3 fat minutes and then get terrified when you see what's in store for the week after that - but have faith, the programme works and you'll do it.

I know what you mean as I start W3 next week as well - I think the 3 minute walk sections might include some tree hugging!!

PeaBea and Belles, I still get those feelings of EEK when I listen to what I have in store for the next run - but then I go out and surprise myself by doing it :-) you can do it too, have faith in yourself and enjoy the nice surprise.

The program really does work, and if you managed last week you really can manage next week.

Annie provided you with advice that is absolutely essential to not just the run you are on, but every run in this program!!

"Advice is to go at a steady pace, don't go too fast at the start. Listen to Laura and believe in yourself. A large part of this plan is gaining mental strength as well as physical strength."

The program most certainly prepares you for every run!! Have faith in the program, but more importantly, HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF!! You can do this!! You are doing this!! :-)

Keep Running!! :-)
