C25K t-shirts: 2 questions.

I ordered my graduate tees, one long sleeved size small, one short sleeve ladies medium (in pink of course). The long sleeved one was massive compared to the short sleeved one and totally swamps me. I emailed Andy who said I could send it back for a refund (no quibbling over anything, this is the sort of customer service I like!). He also said he could source the junior size of the long sleeved top and get that printed.

The first question is: has anyone ordered the junior size and how do they come up size-wise? Are they proportionally shorter in body and sleeve as well as width, so will they fit a 'full-grown' (5'4") adult?

The second question: Do I really want a long sleeved top or would I be better off with a jacket which would be easier to take off and on again like I'm currently doing with my fleece?

Did you know you can just buy sleeves? Apparently they do sell them and you can wear your short sleeve tee and put on some sleeves, get too warm you can take them off and pack them away. Being the type of person, who at the end of the winter, ends up with 10 odd gloves after loosing the rest I'm not sure how good sleeves would be for me but it's an option

I tend to feel the cold on my upper body and not my legs - I guess the legs are doing most of the work - so I run in a t-shirt that wicks away moisture and on top of that a thin cotton long sleeved top. I works fine for me now though if the BBC weather man is right and we are hitting winter this week I may re-think my clothing. Good thing about this healthy eating and running lark is that I have dropped 16kg in 4 months (running for 2 of them) and all my old fleeces are now too baggy for running I feel a shopping trip coming on, and might get a cycling jacket as friends who run use them say they are very effective at keeping you warm and dry in the cold and wet.

Firstly I should probably admit I tend to 'run hot' (and not just when running) and don't feel the cold - I was still in short-sleeves and shorts to 5°C - and have only used capri pants in the last week when it's been about 3°C. I'll also admit I don't like to run with a jacket tied around my waist.

I've got two long-sleeved shirts and have used them a few times times in temperatures ~3-4°C. I find them ideal for my long, slow run, when I'm running from my door (warm up in the garden then leave my sweatshirt in the house) and no cool down walk home. I'm not going too fast that I overheat and am just warm the whole time. I've also used them for interval training. I got hot during the fast running and had to push the sleeves up, but when I pulled the sleeves down this was just enough to keep my warm for the 10 minutes walk home (I couldn't face running up the hill). One of the shirts is more fitted than the other, and I think this helped keep me warm.

I've bought a very thin, windproof running vest/gilet too and will add this as an extra layer to keep my core warm when there is a cold wind.
