W7 run 2 but did sort of go against Laura's advice.

Well, I started week 7 yesterday morning and did my run at 9am. I found the run really good and took a different route along the seafront.

After a rather relaxing day of ironing and taking the boys swimming I felt like going out for another run, so I went out this evening at 17:00. I told myself that I had had a days rest as more than 24 hours had passed. Is this wrong?

I enjoyed my run and don't feel too bad at all.

I think I am either starting to enjoy running as it gives me a little me time or can't wait to order my C2 5K graduates T-shirt. It has also refocused me with my diet as I am following slimming world and had sort of lost my mojo, but now I feel much more motivated to get back to target.

Is there ever a time when we can run more than 1 day in a row or do you always have to have a rest day in between?

Well done on making such a great start to week 7. I did my grad run this morning after completing W9R2 yesterday morning so exactly 24 hours in between as well. I loved it and feel fine too, but not sure how much of a good idea it would be to run every day. Yet many runners do. When is the point when you can afford to miss a rest day or two to get more runs in? So I'd like to know the answer to this one too :)

I don't know the answer to this, but just wanted to say - congratulations on graduating Fraz :-)

Congratulations on graduating Fraz, at least I know I am not on my own, technically we had a rest day didn't we? :-)

some weeks I do two or three days in a row - I never ever push it but if I feel okay I go for it! I wouldn't do it every day every week and sometimes I might have two or 3 days off after. You know your own body so I'm sure you're fine, just know your limits and know when your body is too tired! :)

It's exactly the same as doing an evening run, skipping a day, and hen running in the morning I think - so go for it, but not all the time :)
