Cold morning

Hi all, started off this cold foggy morning 7o/c with my new Aldi jacket and new woolly hat I bought on holiday last week, big mistake, 10mins into running boy was I hot, tried to take my jacket off without stopping, idiot that I am forgot about ear phones and blackberry in the pocket, water on wrist what a mess I got into, jacket half trailing behind me and ear phones went flying. The cars passing must have been having a good laugh. But I did do 3.6Km in 36mins running plus 10mins walking to warm up and down, slow I know, but I am not worrying about speed, just keeping fit. Have to say that made me giggle. I think we've all had times where we get tied in knots /drop things etc when trying to remove layers on the go. Maybe would be quicker if we stopped and did it rather than on the move!

Hi well done, I certainly understand about getting in a mess taking your jacket off on the go. I got all tangled up the other day just while I was getting ready to go out, sorting myself out in such a way with the vain hope it would stop me getting in a mess once I was out and needed to take it off while running. I am now leaving my jacket at home and will only use it when it gets really cold as it is usually 10 mins in it comes off anyway! I admit I don't go out as early as you though and it is still very parky at 7am!
