Hard run because my dodgy knee kept tweaking. I think I pushed it too far. I didn't run fast and I almost enjoyed parts of it! At last! I nearly enjoyed a run. I thought it might be best to forget about distances but I'm can't resist....after I've finished the blog, it's Gooogle Maps for me I must be a little on the competitive after all. It's rather late now, I just wanted to record the fact that I ran today. I think that's 3 times this week

well done, I always work out my distance after each run.
Well done stayinbed - :-). For the knees: in post run shower, first thing run cold water for about a minute over your knees then shower normally. Then cold water treatment another minute. When dry, rib really good quality arnica gel into the knees and again before bed so the warmth can work its wonders. Good luck :-), Sara

Good to read you nearly enjoyed it. Know what you mean about not being able to resist the urge to check distance etc, now I have Endomondo I'm my own worst competitor. In a way I miss the early days of not knowing or caring about such things. Best of luck with those knees, have you tried supports?
Been there,done that notbad. I've only got 1 knee support because they're not cheap, but your message reminded me that I bought a Pound shop one so I'll have to find that out. Perhaps I'll try running in both of them on one knee! Is Edmondo like Garmin? I like the idea of just running wherever you fancy without having to plan (and remember) the routes.
I've just got the free version of Endomondo which gives the distance, time, average pace, no need to plan your route the gps tracks you. The Garmins give more detailed stats like heart rate, inclines & exact pace at each point but are loads more expensive, lots of people on here say they're great though.
