So I'm on week 7 and I started getting blisters around week 5 and I looked up some solutions online and I bought some proper running socks. However they worked fine for a while my feet didn't slip around in my shoe but today's run they were everywhere and now Ive been left with two massive blisters on my instep. Any suggestions to stop this?

I has the very same thing at week 6 and onwards.. It was suggested that i get gait analysis done as trainers might have something to do with it but before i could do that bought some More Mile running socks and touch wood since then NO blisters. I got mine from ebay purely because i didn't want to spend loads on them and then find out they didn't work... I found though that as a size 5 i wasn't sure which size to go for!!! 2-5 or 5-8 so went smaller and they've been great. Hope this helps
I have wide feet and fallen arches and this seems to be something that I can't seem to get away from. I have found New Balance shoes have gave me the least amount of trouble, but on longer runs I would still get small blisters.
After a while I would build up a thicker layer of skin and it became for less of an issue though.
