Am I down hearted? Not at all.

I run around the fields and down the farm tracks at the back of the house. I usually run in a square with added tracks depending on how I feel in myself, but usually for 30 + minutes.

Today I went out and found my breathing difficult - it was a bit blustery - and then I got a twinge in my left knee and my ample bosom was jiggling -must tighten straps -

Didi I give up? No. I just curtailed my run to just the square route and when I reached the road I had taken 3 minutes off my previous time for a straight square. It was a long time ago.

So although I did not run as was planned I was well pleased with the outcome. Will do better on Saturday

Brilliant! well done. It certainly sounds like you've improved without really thinking about it!

That's great, oldlady! It's encouraging when you find your times going down - it's a good measure of how your fitness is improving! I managed to scrape a few seconds off my time today so I'm well-pleased too. Good luck for your next run.:)
