Done my 3rd run of week 3 but had to take a week and a half break from run 2 as my knees were in agony so am not sure whether to just make that run 1 or run 3 because of the break what do u all advise as for my run this morning it went well till final minute so it's either week 4 or run 2 week 3 on monday

Hi Scoof - don't know if you've seen the posts about cold water and arnic BUT, for a few of us who were new 4 weeks ago we were discussing good treatments for aching knees and here's the best one AND IT WORKS as long as you don't have other medical problems... In the shower, after your run, shower your knees with cold water then shower normally and at the end give them the cold treatment again. When you get out and dry off rub some good Arnica gel into your knees. I use SBC gel (made in the UK) as it's really pure and works almost instantly. Then rub arnica in again before bed so the warmth can help it work deeply. Seriously... since I've started using this treatment on my 54 year old knees I have had no pain since the beginning of W3R2.
