WOOOOOOHAAAAAA, I DID IT Wk5Rn3, I feel so proud of myself, I kept telling myself failure isn't an option. I won't say it was easy, first 5 mins settled into my pace, after 10 mins, I reasoned with myself and kept thinking its only a repeat of what I've already done, last two mins was difficult, but the rewards are worth it, what a BUZZ. I was soooo ready for this. These blogs have been inspiring & have really helped, reading other people's experiences and encouragement ...WICKED... Big thanks EVERYONE, couldn't have done it without you and of course Laura :)))))
Woooooohaaaaaaaaaa!: WOOOOOOHAAAAAA, I DID IT Wk... - Couch to 5K
Woooooohaaaaaaaaaa!
Woo Hooooooo!!!!! Well done - you deserve to pamper yourself for the rest of the day! I got throu W6R1 too - thanks for the positive thoughts - it was chilly and quite windy today as well - definite trip to Aldi tomorrow and fingers crossed they have some jackets left.
Quite a Buzz here now too - though my legs still don't know what hit them. It is true what they say about week 6 and going back to intervals - you have to pace yourself. Oh - and watch out for the music on the very last run... "It's Easy Now...." well, I beg to differ..... Have a great weekend - I won't be running again probably till Tuesday so I"m hoping an extra day off won't be a problem.
Well done to you too! Was Wk6Rn1 as difficult as some of the comments left on here have suggested, I do hope not, I feel I could attempt anythng at the moment, it's the Buzz isn't it It was chilly here in Bristol and a little windy, but I felt it was a little too warm today to benefit from the Aldi running jacket, just a sweater or hoodie is all I'm needing at the moment!
I plan to go out Monday so will post how I get on and I'm sure the extra day won't make a difference, I have done that throughout the plan, an extra day here and there! Looking forward to hearing the music and as for you put your feet up, relax and perhaps even a small glass of something lovely.
Well done - great news - knew you would do it
I'm out on Wk6r3 tomorrow - another long one!!
Fantastic - well done! I have the dreaded week 5 next week (finished week 4 this morning) and I'm feeling a lot more positive about it having read your post. Keep up the good work and have a great weekend.
Well done! would agree the buzz after doing that one is fantastic. I was visiting family in Norfolk when I did that one and my mum was equally impressed at what I had done. Keep the feeling going and don't worry if you struggle on the next, quite a few do, from now on it is definately mind over matter!
Congratulations on doing W5R3 - it's a mental more than physical barrier and now you are on your way to graduation
