Hi all, so had major pains after the first two runs of week one. Started week 2 last night and not feeling anything. I'm feeling a little disheartened as I worked hard and was tough but am not feeling it now- why?

Hi,
I've just done w2r1, and although it was a bit of a struggle I am not feeling the usual pain either. Maybe our bodies are already more resilient?!
Your body is probably just getting used to using these new muscles - that's not a bad thing, that's good! It doesn't mean you didn't work hard enough, it just means your body is more geared up for it! It's not normal to ache and be sore after every run once you start doing it on a regular basis.

Our bodies quickly adapt to new exercises you may be one of the lucky ones who doesn't feel too much muscle pain. If you would like to find some however try slotting in a hill or two that will wake them up
