On the home stretch of my run this morning I was thinking about scenes in films that pop up when I'm running. I've already mentioned channelling the T1000 from Terminator 2 during speed.

Also since graduating I have felt like Jake Sully being given a new Avatar body to use, one that works (and now I have my Graduate top one that is a bit blue) that I just have to learn to use properly.

My favourite though is the scene in Highlander when Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez and Connor Macleod are running along a beach, especially when I see a deer. I am also given to shouting out in my best "Egyptian" accent, "the prize is to be able to run for 30 minutes" and "you don't need to breathe, you're immortal!"

And of course Chariots of Fire, but in my case the VIc and Bob's Asparagus version

LOL! Thanks for that. On my next run I'll try my best not to think of asparagus legs. And then eventually when I get over the stitch I got through laughing, I'll try and do my run... :D
