30 minutes exactly, you have to listen to George right up to the last whisper. I was about 50m from the end of the woods then so I ran them a bit faster - we won't call it a sprint... - and then walked home.
AND - according to geodistance.com - which okay isn't accurate down to the last metre - but according to them I ran for 5.3km not counting the warm up and down!!!!!
I feel like Victor Meldrew... I just don't beLIEVE it!

I chased it round the woods! I'm going to get a Garmin and then I can be more accurate. So that's W9R1 done and dusted, 2 more to go and then I can apply for my green badge.
I'm just a bit worried that when there's no programme hounding me on so to speak that I'll let things slide... how did other people keep themselves motivated - in the winter especially??
I've downloaded the C25K+ podcasts and the B210k ones. I'm not sure if I'm going for a 10k but I want to see how far I can take this running business. I never thought I would be any good at it. In fact I thought I would fail at week1 so it's a real surprise to find I like it, and want to make it part of my life.
Just noticed you graduated this morning! Congratulations, you must be really chuffed :-). All going well I'll be following in your footsteps next week.
I'd never run before either, and I was totally unfit after years of back problems. I'm quite happy with 5K, and as I can only run on soft dirt tracks because of my back I'm pretty limited to where I can go. I can describe every tree in my woods now...
Think I'll do the same as you and have a go at the 5K+ podcasts, just hope the music's okay.
