I was sure I'd put this post on but I hadn't.....my brain's hurting again! I did the Worcester Parkrun with my 3 daughters and 1 partner. One daughter ran with me because she's broken a toe and I did a personal best. Last week I did 34min 12seconds and this time I did 33 min 26 seconds. Now I'm starting to obsess...do I have to run faster every week?? I've had 2 days off so I'm running tomorrow, think I might run do the canal path as the weather's been quite dry!
I CAME 2ND IN THE WORCESTER PARK RUN.......in ... - Couch to 5K
I CAME 2ND IN THE WORCESTER PARK RUN.......in my age group!
Woohooo. Well done. Keep at it. and keep enjoying it. A canal run sounds lovely. You don't have to run faster each time, unless you want to!
CONGRATULATIONS! How good it must have felt to cross that finishing line and in such a great time – makes all the hard work worth it I'm sure.
Wow - what a star! Don't obsess about always being faster because it could take the joy out of running, have certain runs where you go for speed and do high intensity interval training for the speed stuff but often just enjoy it - cos you're obviously doing so well!
Thank you all so much! There weren't many more than 2 of my age group, in fact I was probably the only one!!!!! I certainly don't run fast though but I do need to keep reminding myself that a few weeks ago I couldn't have run to save my life!
