Just back from two weeks in France - did week 5 over first week, running along lovely country roads in the Dordogne. Amazing day when I actually managed a full 20 minutes - fair amount of celebrating that night :-) The second week I repeated wk5r1 but then did major bike rides with son (15km) and lots of swimming in aqua park, so a bit apprehensive about tomorrow morning's run. However am determined not to go backwards or let that bad angel get the better of me! Keep your fingers crossed for me :-)

I actually found week 6 surprisingly easy...maybe it was because I could go back to intervals after w5r3, but the runs just flowed (well, number 3 seemed rather long, but still). You'll be fine!

Well done, I'm in the exact same place, completed W5R3 yesterday, never run for 20mins in one go before....EVER !!

I'm not too concerned with W6R1 and R2, like tantrumbean said, they are back to intervals but I am alittle apprehensive about R3, didn't feel yesterday that I had another 5 mins in me, although 5 weeks ago I would never thought I could run for 20mins so I'm sure we both can do it - good luck ;-)

It was a lot better than I thought - and although intervals again made me feel much happier about R3, like you I never thought I could run 20 mins and not sure have many more left in me - but am now such a firm believer in this program, I am sure we will both be "flying" through it :-) Good Luck to you too!

Well done. :) I found this run tough but perhaps I was a little over-confident after completing W5,R3. ;) It sounds like you had a lovely holiday and got the chance to run in a beautiful place. One of the best things about learning to run is being able to enjoy places like that in a whole new way. :) I look forward to seeing you go on to graduation. Best of luck.
