Just finished wk 7 and have put on approx 6lbs even though I've been watching my diet, is this normal? I know fat turns to muscle but surley not in this short space of time. Help.

By week 7, it's very likely! I'm about 6 weeks into getting back into shape (for dance) and I'm a good bit heavier than I was at the start. I build muscle very easily, particularly for a female, so I'm always significantly heavier when I'm at my best!

I think the fat and the muscle weighs the same, the only difference is muscle takes much less space so in theory if you are building muscles then you should weigh the same but you should loose the inches.

I don't think you should put the weight on during this program esp if you are being careful with your food. I have lost almost a stone in 11 weeks since I have started the programme.

I found when I started I was putting on weight as I was always starving! So I started doing Weightwatchers on line (no meetings) to keep an eye on things. I've now lost nearly a stone.
