Week 9, run 1? or Week 9, run 3?

They are both 30 minutes of running :) I'm just about to start week 7, so i'm on the home stretch already!

Graduation is once week 9 run 3 is competed you are then a graduate. Once you have done that run send John (JR21) a message and he will get you your well earned badge. Good luck

I wondered about this too. It does feel a bit strange that the 3 runs are the same & I think it would be good if W9 R3 had a different podcast to acknowledge completing the programme (maybe with a round of applause, some sort of fanfare or perhaps the natonal anthem - olympics style - OK, I'm getting carried away now!)

Doing the run 3 times does make you feel as if you can really do it so I guess run 3 is the real graduation one.

Good luck with weeks 7, 8 & 9.

The Olympics style celebration would be great, but the achievement doesn't really need anything else :)

Once you have done 3 long runs in week 9 you will certainly feel you have earned your badge and be ready to move on to bigger and faster things, perhaps. If you only did one, you might be inclined to stop and, of course, you don't want that, do you? :D

KateMac you have given me a great idea. If i ever get to week 9 run 3 (I will get there, I will!!!!) i shall demand that my other half is waiting for me upon my return to present me with one of those London 2012 gold chocolate medals with ribbons they're selling then I shall stand on the washing up bowl upside down as my rostrum and play God Save the Queen. It's the least I deserve IMO. Then I shall eat the medal, have a cuppa and download the next set of podcasts!!! ;)

Hi Fraz73, What a lovely image, that is exactly the sort of thing I had in mind! The most I get out of my other half is a slightly sarcy "Hot out there today, is it?" when i stagger back in sweating & heading for the shower!

Good luck with W9, you will get there, let us know when you do it x

The image of this has made me determined to graduate, haha, so that I can do the same!
