Week 4, Run 3 and running faster :-)

Wow, I can't believe I've actually finished week 4! I even found myself running faster and my route being too short! I was worried about progressing to week 5 but feel really ready for it, in fact the rests in between runs are starting to annoy me...I just want to keep running! I never ever thought I would be saying this!

Hey I just finished week4 run 3 today as well! Increased my pace for this one as I havnt found the others too taxing but I can feel my shins now!. Totally ignored lauras advice to slow down and dig in for the last fives mins. For the last minute I ran as hard as I could. I'm well chuffed considering I was a couch potato 4 weeks ago!

I finished W4 R3 today too but unlike you two I have not managed to increase my speed yet. I had slight pain in my shins after R1 but today no pain at all-I am quite surprised to see how quickly the shins are adapting. Can't wait to start W5 R1 on monday:-)

Don't worry about speed yet. I'm going out to do W4R3 in about an hour. I found that this week has pushed me quite a lot, to the point where actually I think my speed has slowed down for the 5 minutes stints. But I can feel that I have improved so much with endurance. 4 weeks ago I nearly couldn't finish W1R1, a total of 8 mins running in 8 separate runs, now I can jog for 16 mins in only 4 separate runs!

I still can't believe that I am jogging for longer than running now either....but I always feel amazing after going out...especially when i can jump in the shower! :op
